HI, Can any one help me when ever i try and install the game it says an unexpected error has occured and aborting setup.

So can any one tell me what I should do. Also I am running Windows vista 32 bit.

I KNOW now how to fix the "BLACK SCREEN to DESKTOP" problem

All you have to do is to install the game like normally you would, after that...

GO TO DIRECTORY, THEN INTO THE MUSIC FOLDER:

You'll see AVI files with names " eag_* ", DELETE THEM ALL

Run the game. It worked for me that way. Thumbs up if it solved yours too.

Actually never mind. I just went to the cracked one in C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\The Sims and ran it as administrator and it worked fine. Thanks!

@beckahballistic Hello, the "# Crack" folder? It's in the .rar file of the Fix, hard to miss. Besides, reading the included "# Installation Guide.pdf" should make it easy to apply the Fix.
