Liars get into trouble. If you lie on the job application, you can get fired from the job. If you lie in the court, you can be punished. If you lie to the government to get some aid, you can go to prison and pay a fine. The punishments can go on and on. It is true that God will take you down if you do not repent of lying. God is love, and he does not want nonsense in heaven. We must ask God to forgive us. Lying is a heart issue.
