  • Pure magic :) I really hope they release a recording of this production. Marti was a wonderful Jekyll and an even better Hyde ;)

  • Saw him perform in Glasgow, his performance in the show was much more powerful but I adored every minute of it :-D

  • ... and to stoop even lower by referring to his voice being wrecked is giving your rather sad, jealous lifestyle away. Marti has these roles in his back pocket and gets involved to the highest standard. He also has very personal reasons for taking the step into musicals. As I pointed out in posts before where jealous dicks have spewed out crap, his voice is outstanding and has suited EVERY part he has approached. You have really ripped my fucking knitting with that comment so fuck up!! fanny!

  • My reply to you, willthemusicguy is this: I will gladly sink to your level to tell you what kind of 'person' I think you are. I presume you are/were involved in the production of musicals or even worse, an artist that cannot get any work... because you're shit. You just don't get 'performing' do you? You have pointed out your opinion but Marti will ALWAYS have fans that will tell jealous arseholes what they think of their 'opinion'. I detest ignorance and you son have it in great abundance.

  • willthemusicguy wrote: Not a scratch on the original Broadway production. Bill Kenwright has ruined the productions chances of ever transferring to the west end.cast was great but Marti Pellow was really wrong choice for the role The role needs a younger lead who's voice has not been wrecked by years of misuse on the pop stage! If you want to hear real talent, go & watch something in the west end now. Another case of box office ratings being more important than the quality of the production!!!!

  • He was in a production of Blood brothers, I saw him on thursday:)

  • @wincipoet I'm jealous. :P I wanted to see it more than once but my oh so brilliant mother decided to go see him on the second to last performance in Norwich, and we couldn't get to the rest of the shows after that because they were too far away. I think I nearly died from sheer misery! :( he was awesome!

  • Saw him live in Edinburgh, he did really great job.

  • Saw the show he was awesome

  • @mollyoneye You and SusieFromAnotherComment: Are you awake and alive? Do not guess about drugs. Someone may translate Your Comment this way: You know for sure all about the state of mind on drugs, bla, bla, bla.

I really do not understand why you people post comments to ruin fans pleasure to see the Artist they love ( Marti Pellow in your case)

By the way, a junkie do not use sharp clothes.

  • he looks fantastic and sounds amazing brilliant

  • He sure does look like shit, well I guess that's what drugs does to people, I loved wet wet wet in the 80/90's
