Here is a mini documentary I filmed this morning, just outside Cambridge.

I saw about 8-10 different hares this trip. I set up on the edge of the field before it got light, and waited as they came out of their forms (they don't live in burrows, but in shallow scrapes in the ground) to feed. The first animal I saw in the dark was a muntjac, but as the light began to improve, I saw the hares start to move.

Most surprisingly, in the middle of October, two of the hares started to box!

If you like my short amateur wildlife documentaries, please comment. I am always interested to hear of any interesting wildlife sightings too.
