... using deshaker in VirtualDubMod and much the same processing as described below. (Cropped and expanded with black borders for 4x3 aspect ratio and to attenuate some hard "video blocks" and "artifacts" caused by youtube's bitrate constraints!

- At this time, "YouTube servers" down-converts everything you upload to 320x240 (constrained bitrate) flash video (...22khz "mono" audio) causing unpredictable results!

- DV footage was recorded with a 3CCD Sony TRV-900 MiniDV camera at DV's native 4:3 720x480 NTSC.
- at mid to low light conditions looks fine on DV, but the final (uploaded version here) well, I tried some compression formats. the low light and reddish colors are hard to compress well... It's the best result I could get (so far) for this one.
The compression for upload was made using xvid with an average bitrate of 1200kbps at 640x480. I used Temporal chroma, Temporal Smoother, levels correction and rescale plugins in VirtualDubMod to reduce as much as possible most of the video blocks and artifacts when downconverted by YouTube's encoders.
Steinberg Wavelab vst parametric equalizer and peak master was applied inside premiere pro to lift up the voice range. It was reencoded from the DV's 48khz .wav to 128 kbps mp3 file leaving it at 48khz. The audio is fine. It was captured directly from stage speakers using the camera's microphone.
