Nice job...even if others think it too fast. I think you need to add a nice chorus unit or phaser to your Rhodes.

i wish i could play the paino like you

total ace man! :)

so good.

Diggin it. Some Miles is always nice I like it. Rather fond of improvising with some Miles on my trumpet. Keep playing.
-
that's pretty nice. thanks.
-
slow down please

I love how you play the solo's and the bass lines at the same time. That's what I love the piano is that you can make a full, complete song yourself with one. Anyway, beautiful playing and a great cover of a fantastic artist.

Hey, I play the trumpet. Wanna start a combo? I love Miles.
slow it down, man.

Why? It's a version of "So What", it's not meant to be a carbon copy.

some v nice playing on it, but the form went bye bye right from the top :(
its v weird when its ABAB...

To me, it's all about substance over form - this cover is inspired by miles davis' "so what" - I wouldn't want to, nor could I, replicate his version perfectly.

Nevertheless, any arrangements of it I have heard have stuck to the AABA... but then I suppose it is conditioning that makes it sound 'weird' as ive described it!

Fair enough. The truth is that after the first few bars, the song no longer resembles 'So What' very much anyway. The ABAB arrangement must have just seemed more natural for me to improvise over at the time.
