Mellotron Karaoke 3

This time it's my attempt at an excerpt from "The Cinema Show" from Genesis' "Selling England By The Pound" album - Yamaha keyboard doing backing (out of shot), Sequential Pro-One lead and Mellotron organ chords first, followed by the classic 8-choir. I think it could have done with a tad more reverb on the 'tron, but all in all, not bad considering I've only just learned how to play it!

Not bad at all...the 'tron came out a little quiet in the mix, but it's always nice to hear the classic 8 Choir and the somewhat rarely-used organ.

Yes, I must admit the 'tron was quieter than I would have liked, but there was a lot of trial and error involved. I recorded it a couple of times before with the 'tron louder, and the overall combination came out distorted each time, but I probably over-compensated this time around! It's funny also, the "Seven Stones" organ sounded louder than the choir here - usually it's the opposite.

DO THE SOLO AT THE END!!! I love the melody at the end with the Analog playing a Duophonic solo over those lucious Mellotron Chords, prolly my alltime favorite Genesis song!
