Trippi on Van Jones: GOP Wants Obama To Be Next FDR, Carter

Ed Rollins and Joe Trippi comment on the resignation of White House green jobs czar Van Jones in the wake of a "9/11 truther" controversy as well as video clips of him that surfaced.

"This administration has the potential to be FDR or Jimmy Carter," Trippi says, "and I think the Republicans are going to do everything they can to make him Jimmy Carter... to create a failed Presidency, that's what many of them want."

Rollins comments that he doesn't know Jones, but he "embarrassed the President" and "did the right thing."

This after Howard Dean suggested that Jones was "brought down" by the right.
