Jacks version is the best . Andy Williams is good too . I miss these days .Romance was alive

Another song in the Unitification episode was Jim Nabors Christmas Eve In My Hometown. Between these 2 songs it was a triple hanky episode indeed.

The song that was in 2 of the Curse Of The Manchesters stories. It was in the first story and in the episode after the pirate ship sinking episode. It was the song that reunited the 2 main charactors even after the death of one. This song either signals an impending death. Or a unitification.

@catman916 You're right. I guess that's why I misremembered (is that a word?) him singing in the film. Thanks for posting!

Another 45 my parents had! I remember that the reverse side had a song by the name of 'Emily', but I didn't like it as much as 'Dear Heart'.

You should check out Jack doing Love With the Proper Stranger from the film of the same name . Same year also .

@airkooled05 Haven't thought of this song or movie in years - you're right great love story with the late great Glenn Ford (and Geraldine Page), and of course Jack Jones singing the theme song.

I was in about 6th grade when my sister played Jack Jones records. I have all the gons memorized to this day and love them still.
Just watched Dear Heart on TCM for the first time in years (actually decades). Fell in love with it (and Glenn Ford) all over again. Was mistaken tho, thought Jack Jones sang the theme song, but he didn't. Didn't catch credits, think it was the Henry Mancini singers. Sounded great, but like Jack better.

@jcapuani While Jack's version was not used in the film, it did receive much airplay on the radio.
