Yes, you´ve seen/hear a lot of "jurassic park", but what´s this?! THIS IS SPOCK´S BEARD, maybe a little bit more intellectual than this "riff" you are talking about. If you knew Genesis maybe it will remind you the "riff" of "Firth of fith" (piano/beginning).
