American group The B-52's were very popular in Australia throughout the 80s & early 90s.
Private Idaho was their second Top 10 song in 1980 ... following the smash hit "Rock Lobster".
This is the promo video for Private Idaho from their 1980 Album "Wild Planet" ... Rock Lobster was from their 1979 Album "The B-52's".
In mid 1980 they appeared on Countdown in Australia ... performing both these songs.
