Unions are thugs who take away workers' rights. Unions are worthless thugs who use coercion rather than offering anything of value to workers.
This Orwellian bill does remove the right to a secret ballot, forces workers into binding arbitration, and exposes workers to union intimidation. This is an unconscionable union bailout. Unions should just die their long-delayed deserved death. Freedom is too important to even entertain joining a union.

Card Check essentially abolishes secret ballot elections by having a process that requires only signature cards.

Also, if you're concerned about the principles of america, maybe you should direct your anger towards employers and corporations who routinely fire people illegally for attempting to join a union or threatening them with the loss of their job if they organize. Plus, unions are a great way to enhance democratic or classically liberal ideals, the same ideals America was supposedly founded on

It doesn't remove the secret ballot..Maybe you should read the bill before criticizing it. Just because fox news and the USCC are against it on the grounds that it removes the secret ballot doesn't mean thats what would happen. The bill allows WORKERS to choose the process of forming a union, which comes down to a choice between simple majority sign up or elections.

Taking away secret ballot will further erode the principles that have made the USA so great. How can anyone with common sense vote against keeping a ballot secret?

Good job Ron. Typically, Fox gangs up on those who speak for working families and allows more time for their speakers. They always want to point the finger at union workers to blame for Detroit's problems and conveniently ignore the role of mismanagement and overpaid ceo's. Thanks for going on the air Ron.
