@lufrewop9789 What mix ratio did you add the hardner? Was the Rustoleum their marine paint? And did you use the same paint even on parts that will be below the waterline since the boat will not live in the water? I am painting mine with Rustoleum also .... a little more area of course ha ha !!!

nice boat im working on a 76 starcraft 16ft ss my self these boats cant be beat and can be had for pennies on the dollar if your willing to put a bit of work into it

Looks great! I'm looking at repainting mine - do you mind if I ask how you approached your job (is it a case of sanding back to the bare alloy, etch Primer, and a few layers of paint)?
Any other tips or advice for a novice?

Awesome Job very inspiring
No you dont have to go bare metal like I did. I did it with a sandblaster wich is not a good idea. But if u wish to do so use paint remover, thats the ticket. But still u dont have to go bare metal. But when u sand and do hit bare use zinch chromate primer or etch primer. I used rustoleum, wich is becoming popular, and touch up is so easy with rustoleum. But for longer lasting use enamel hardener wich they sell at tractor supply. Good luck!
