this WOULD be good if the case actually fit...

just applied the cover, and looks great! those who wrote it have gaps or anything made a mistake somewhere maybe. I'm not good things like this but did it easily.

I don't recommend this mod, there's a big chance that you may damage your iDevice. I did it anyway, out of curiosity. Now the back and front panels have a big gap. I am pretty sure the frame RR sent was not meant for my device.

I'm sorry I'd never let this guy work on my iPod.

Thank you for this video. Very helpful guide.

hey am i the only one but my ivue for the 5th gen videos housing seems separate from the click wheel like its unbalanced..

@bigpimpdevon1, it is an ipod classic in the video. it's available for the 4-6g ipod classics and nano 1g

That was the fastest diassembly of the iPod video I've ever seen. It takes me an hour lol

LOL
hardest part of this whole mod is separating click wheel sensors from the old click wheel. Really nice video but i would not recommend doing it the way he did, those click wheel sensors are FRAGILE. I wouldn't be surprised if he had problems with it after, or that his click wheel didn't sit properly when he re-assembled the whole ipod. I have experience with the ivues and will recommend using something non-metal(guitar pick) to separate the click wheel and take it alot slower, he's a pro.

I did it, and it rules!, the click wheel is abit out of place though, will fix that. Other than that everyone at school is stunned! =]
