The series went downhill after this game. It really was the last good one.

@YTPman1 Have to disagree. World 3 was much better. It got rid of the ridiculously annoying car thing you rode around in the 2nd installment, got rid of the annoying 3v3 combat, the terrible animations ( i.e. every attack looked like a range attack because they never got close to the enemy when they attacked ), and the 3rd had the very well designed card game feature. I still to this day wish someone would make a TCG similar to the one in DW3.

@camdevtube I agree,i like world 3 much more even world 2 have better boss fight theme.

@camdevtube Digimon World 3's models were pretty bad though, with a lot of, uh... You know how the parts of the body just go through each other? As well as the occassional random weird spot on them.
And the animations also weren't that great, sure they got in for a closer attack and all that but it looked pretty odd and choppy, and the attacks that were ranged can't really compare to the smoothness of animation with DW2.
also if you want digimon card game go for the actual digimon card battle.
