So honestly, which is better. This or Homeworld 2? Cause I have Homeworld 2 and love it

You'd be surprised! The game scales down pretty good for older computers.

You had to get a fleet expanstion mod. I don't even think SOASE allows that many capital ships.

No mods, max capital ships is 16 if I remember correctly :)

@breakthro444 I like a kinda balance between the 2. Like for example Empire Earth. That's my fav strategy game.

@Loz8900 this is a very slow paced empire building game like total war. but when you create a fleat you can attack another planet in the solar system and in the bigger maps galaxy and it'll play out like homeworld 2. so if you are just the one who likes the fast-paced stuff: no. if you like building up and empire and taking out the enemy in a semi realistic fashion: yes.

Both great games, but Sins can take several hours or even days to finish 1 game. Homeworld 2 never more than a few hours. Homeworld 2 allows 25 cap ships, sins allows only 16. There are mods and trainers that allow unlimited cap ships but your PC will lag badly or even become unplayable if you push it to far. Can not use in multiplayer though there might be work arounds for private lan setups.

@unarmedcivilian thats true but then every time you get back to the ship it is so slow its hard to buy stuff and what not.
