This is an experiment on a 2 liter planted cube. I set up this planted aquarium in Summer 2004 as a first contact with planted nano aquariums. I photographed the evolution of the tank for months. I took 3 pics of it at different time intervals and processed them in Fantamorph morphing software to produce the illusion of plants growing. It is a time-lapse/morphing combination.
Check more pictures of this tank in AguaVerde http://www22.brinkster.com/aguaverde/articulos/2bliter.htm

  • Definitely photoshop. Not only did the Driftwood grow but so did the tank it's self from .17 on LOL!!!! F A I L !!!!

  • SplittingSkulls, Hi!, I didn´t use photoshop. I used picasa and Paint Shop Pro 8 for image editing, and Fantamorph morphing software for the growing effects. I would love to make another video but longer, unfortunately I don´t have a tank set up right now.

  • This is a real planted aquarium with real plants growing. This little cube ranked #100 in ADA´s International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest 2007.

You probably mean this is not your tipical time-lapse video, it is not, this is morphing.

  • @aguaverdeMORTA Too true, friend. People seemed so polite and intelligent until the Internet was in every home. After that it seemed like half the population was mean-spirited and had the intelligence of a glass of water.

Nice looking tank, by the way! :)
