To say the least my Sophomore year was interesting. I was elected Latin Club President and the Sophomore Class president. It was a busy year for me. I recall the Latin Club trip to San Antonio with my friends. It was exciting to be able to experience a whole new city with my buddies. I like being with my friends. They are very important to me even though I never told them. I worked at McDonalds when I was fifteen. I was able to buy an expensive polo jacket. It was red and blue. My friends wanted to wear it on the trip so they could look cool. I let them. I wanted them to be happy. Our families didn't make much money. I worked all my life it seemed. I could buy myself expensive clothes. I just wanted my friends to look decent instead of looking like refugees. I let my friends take turn wearing my jacket. I enjoyed spending that time with them. We went to see the San Antonio Zoo, the Alamo, and the Riverside Mall. The San Antonio Zoo was the biggest zoo my friends and I had ever seen. We saw all kinds of animals. The Alamo was a lot smaller than I had imagined. We all had lots of fun shopping at the Riverside Mall. It was definitely a memorable trip. In San Antonio I ran for TSJCL President. The chance of me winning was slim to none. At that time I was fearless and I had a "never say never" attitude. I was nervous when I gave my speech, but I made it through. I came up short and it was fine. At least I gave it a shot. I was really proud of myself and my school. All in all it was a great learning experience.

  • Think about this, smoking is going to cause lung cancer one of these days. That's why you really need to quit now. Your life is already going to be too-short. Don't try to make it worse.

  • I haven't quit smoking yet. I have two packs left and then I'll try again. I have to quit. It cost too much to smoke. I am glad to here from you. I hope all is well. Take care. I'll talk to you soon.

  • I'm sure that you must have been nervous during your speech, because you had to say that you had to start over.

  • I have to admit it was an amazing experience. It was a rush standing in front of about a thousand people. I was nervous. Overall the experience made me a stronger person. My teacher and my friends were proud of me.

  • I'm glad you finally quit. I never thought I could do it, and another user even told me on Skype that it is impossible to virtually get someone to stop someone from smoking. I'd say, in her FACE!

  • It is not the dying that I am afraid of. It is the living in pain that I fear.

  • @Darian03 Its good you're trying to quit. The longer you live the better.

  • That is cool that you are living in San Antonio. It is a cool place. This video is over twenty years old. I have been smoking for ten years. I am trying to quit. I have not smoken for two days now.

  • I live in San Antonio now ;)! and how long have you been smoking?
