The bigots at the American Family Association and Coral Ridge Ministries are calling for boycott of McDonald's because the fast food chain is insufficiently homophobic.

With all of the injustice, strife, pain and misery in the world, I find it puzzling that "christians" pay so much attention to arbitrary human behavior such as sexual preference. Why are they so concerned with what appendage goes where?The gay people I know are some of the most intelligent, well adjusted genuine people I've ever met. They actually love life. A far cry from the bible thumping rednecks who look like they're gonna blow a gasket if you question their programming

@bdpickett You may be correct; I haven't seen them. The only substative difference may lie in which organ you wish to destroy: pancreas (McDs) or brain (Wayne bros.). Speaking politically, to their credit (as far as I know), the Wayne bros. don't donate large amounts of money to organizations that attempt to deny people basic civil rights, as do Chick-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby.

While I support gay rights, I'd never set foot into a McD's or Disney park. They represent the nadir of the lowest common denominator pop culture detritis. Dead goat porn has more cultural or artistic merit than those institutions. I am happy, however, to avoid support of Cracker Barrel, Chick-Fill-A, and Hobby Lobby and their low-key peddling of christian smut.

I boycotted McDonalds a long time ago for a simple reason, they support the illegal state of Israel and fund war. No I'm not a Christian, I'm simply a pacifist.
