You have seen these beasts of burden blazing trails all over the world, on TV shows, movies and more! This is the legendary Land Rover Series IIA. Powered by a small, but stout diesel with aluminum coachwork, these are true off road vehicles designed to blaze trails where they can't spell "road". Where it can't drive, it can pull itself since it has a winch that can pull it up trees. The British built this one to last!

i know what you mean about adding the carpet those diesels dont half rumble

I restored this little guy in England back in 1999. The carpet was put in to deaden the noise from that diesel and to keep in some heat...I should have got black carpet. I drove it up from Biloxi, MS in 2000...that took forever at 50mph!! I sold it in 2004 and have regretted it ever since.
