Recorded with the Photron ultima APX high speed video camera at 4,000 frames per second (fps), this spectacular slow motion video clip shows a knife puncturing a balloon filled with water. The balloon's skin can be seen peeling back to leave the water still perfectly formed in the original shape, great example of high speed motion analysis. See www.photron.com for more examples.

  • (ATTENTION) Why "Slow Motion" is called "High Speed" is because the camera has to record the video at a (High) rate of (Speed). Normal Videos are shot at around 30 FPS (Frames Per Second) But this has to be shot at 4,000 FPS so that it can be slowed down.. Therefore this is (High Speed) sense it is recording at a (High Speed)
