My Dad, My Dog

Boca del Lupo premiered it's latest multimedia production as a commission of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival in January 2008, written and directed by Jay Dodge, featuring Sherry J Yoon, James Fagan Tait and Billy Merchenski with animations by Jay White and music by Alicia Hansen.

My Dad, My Dog is a rare look behind the last scrap of the iron curtain into the seldom seen life of a North Korean woman. Using animation, miniatures and live action, the performance explores her the relationship with her father, a powerful symbol in The Peoples Republic, through her interactions with a dog and two foreigners.
