This song sounds awfully similar to when Randy Travis was on Sesame Street with Telly and he sang "How Should I Tell You I Love You". Did they use the same song for that as well? You'll have to watch that clip if you haven't seen it. It's on Youtube here.

YouTube screwed it up for no reason. The video was playing at x2 speed, while the audio was at normal and got cut off.
