I'm related to joe ranft by marriage my mother denise ranft married his cousin peter ranft, joe ranft's family lives in minnesota. I'm not sure if I belive he was in an accident because the illuminati runs the industry.. He was murdered by the illuminati! That's what I believe..

I watch the Pixar story quite often, especially since im a trainee animator. I knew the name Joe Ranft very well as hes interviewed a couple of times during this movie, and so it shocked me to learn of his death. Cars was the one Pixar film i always put off watching as im not interested in Cars, however the film was amazing, but then the credits read "dedicated to Joe Ranft, so so so sad, he seemed like a great guy and definitely very talented, atleast his work wil live on forever
