Is the fiddle hard? I'm buying one on Friday and I want to know how hard it is to learn. I've been playing guitar for 5-6 years and Ukulele for about 2-3 years. Will it be easier for me to pick up Violin because I've got experience or will it still be a struggle?

@rickshunter1 Haha! Fiddle is a real challenge. It's hard to make a banjo sound bad, but a fiddle? Whew! A fiddle can humble a person in a hurry.

congratulations to your wife/ yourself /daughters for these awesome tunes and also to this Cajun fiddle presentation!!. from my point of view, this is what music is about., family and friends gettin togather and having 'real" fun and Great moments and memories.Our family of 9 did similar "get togathers" back in the 60's with Guitars /Hohner Harmonicas and Accordian, THANK YOU FOR YE ALL MUSIC,it is a lovely job,well done and plus this God given" talent that ye all have 10 ---10

wow !! are ye all from Louisanna country!!?? lovely job and super playing I love it,it reminds of the many many times of 8 years travelling to Louisanna and listening to my radio while i stayed at many hotels and enjoyes the french cajan music!!! I love ye guys:( from Newfoundland Canada)

@battlehrfred We're from Missouri. We just like the Cajun sound, so we try to play some of it. We don't get it quite right, but it's fun to try. This is actually not a true Cajun tune. It was composed by Buck Owens' guitar player, Don Rich.
