With the wonderful folks at Glazer's we got to test our camera. Behold: The Canon 5d Mark II with a Cameraquest adapter and a Takumar SMC 50mm f/1.4 lens. Check out our website at: http://www.lotlmovie.com

  • I just used Final Cut Pro and Color, just dragged the h.264 files from the Mark II and edited. You can use an intermediate codec like Apple Pro Res if you are working in the Final Cut workflow, or if you are on Windows using Cineform, because you don't want to use the h.264 compressed files to edit with if the project is of any considerable size...I don't know if that answered your question?

  • Very neat! Was this taken with the 5D Mark II?

  • Yes it was, in a camera shop, just a quick test to confirm that we want to use this camera to shoot our movie.

  • AWESOME... I have that lens but not the camera.. (and I am soooo jealous) I'm thinkin I might have to get me one of the new Rebel 500's (that will be more in my price range.

  • Hey! Thanks for the shout out, and I hope your 5DMarkII is working out well for you.

  • Its great! I've just bought the Mark II myself but am totally lost when it comes to editing etc.. can I ask what editing program you are using?
