Goofing around with video editing software the other day, I figured I could record a little bit of me, playing the yirdaki. The clip(s) were recorded a few years before the whole YouTube phenomena occured, so not that many people (especially traditional styles aficionados) heard me play. I still play these days, but not nearly as much ... Anyways, this particular excerpt was influenced by a sample Guan Lim put on the web a long time ago. The sound still haunts me... thanks, Guan! :)

Excellent clip! There are some sounds there that very few non-Yolngu have achieved. Congratulations and keep up your great work! Cheers, Guan
