She Waits

I wrote and recorded this song in a songwriting class. I worked really hard on it. Please give me feedback, but nothing too harsh please. And listen to the whole song! Here are the lyrics:

Verse 1
It's not like her life was all that bad, or all that sad. But she had enough sorrows bottled up to last two lifetimes. She was waiting for the right time to spill. The thrill would carry her home. But for now she's alone.

Chorus
She laughs to hide the tears, and she holds her head up high and buries her fears. She breathes. Deep in her heart she knows it shows. And she waits until someone discovers her pain. But the wait is so long for someone to come along. And she waits.

Verse 2
It's not like she had much to hide, something to keep inside. But she didn't think about it. She didn't want to know. Or let herself go past her normal ways. The days seemed longer than most. But for now she's alone. She's alone.

Bridge
In her dreams they bring her back to who she was. In her dreams she's free from her strife because of love, of love. Wake up reality hits the soul. Of love, of love. She's not free anymore.
