nice footage. just wondering, did you do any compression or other post porduction to your video? keep reading about the low light "noise" issue the tx1 seems to have, but your clip looks quite crisp. thanks.

I am sorry that reply was late.

As you know the limit of file size of upload,

I compressed with Windows Media Encoder from 229MB to 10MB.

I'm not proficient with photography, so I'm just experimenting for now.

I have generally severe noise at night and I can't seem to get a nice video when insufficient lighting occurs

I am sorry that I use japanese on my TX1 and have not mind another language.

I used auto mode and iso was auto.

Mind the brightness of the cat is high and the brightness of backgroud scene is very low, please.

What kind of noise on your picture?

Silly me, I have it in another language and it didn't occur to me to do the translation. :p

Can I ask if you use auto/manual/scn setting and what what mode/iso? (e.g night mode,low light)?

I'm having lots of noise in low light in my videos

Please use 16:9 mode and push "FUNC SET", then you will find Superfine, fine and normal mode.

Block noise and mosquito noise are famous noises with motion JPEG. I could not find both noises on this picture.

Of couse, there are noises coused by CCD and lens.

Can you ellaborate a little more?

Also from your experience do you notice more artifacts,noise using the LP mode?
