The whole world was inhabited by natives and there was always competition and warfare over resources. Natives were ill-equipped to evolve the planet into a modern society so nature, no wait... the Great Spirit, brought over Europeans to phase out some natives and assimilate the rest.

Actually the HOLLYWOOD version along with that of your education system has always portrayed the Native Americans in a bad light.
I didn't listen to them....I listened to MY ancestors; the NATIVE AMERICANS.
You might want to ask yourself this: if the Native Americans were NOT nice sweet people why did they help all that came over here how to plant and grow food? Did you miss that part of THANKSGIVING?

this is just ignorant... tribal warfare was the natural way... the concept of "not stealing" is an attempt to civilize mankind... its not meant to castigate people for what their ancestors did under perfectly understandable conditions.
You probably bought the Hollywood version of events where all the natives were nice, loving, sweet people. They used to steal and do unspeakable things to each other regularly. White man came to visit, set up camp, was attacked, and won after fighting back.
