My Company has some of these cars to brag about corporate "greeness". I drove a Company Prius a couple of months ago and now I walk around with my eyes dazed repeating the phrase; "I want a 2010 Prius". Over and Over. I can't stop. It's a really brilliant car. My Civic LX (ICE) is not happy with me.

@gibsonlespaul2 Trust me ford will use expired tesla and toyota patents. Mustang will evolve in poor mans tesla instead of poor mans mercedes, corvette or ferrari. Telsa sedans are suppose to have better 0 to 60 than midsize bmw and mercedes. They are quieter than a rolls royces. Corvettes prototype are already thinking about using volt tech. Corvette that gets 40mpg and has 0to60mph under 3 seconds will reinforce the need of a electric/hybrid shelby. Gm just need to payoff fed bailout.

@waliagovind Ford will never make the Famous 5.0 Mustang be ran with Electric, The competition's wont be about Pipes, It'll be about how big our plug is in our house we charge it with.

If Ford is forced to do something like that, They'll probably quit making the Mustang, And I'll enjoy my old 84 GT500 Mustang (Not a Shelby), The 87 GT, The 98 Mustang, And the 03 Cobra. Hopefully I can get my hands on a new 2011 Mustang 5.0. I hear their beast.

@gibsonlespaul2 Mustang is a nice car but its 50 year old tech. Nothing new about it. 20 Year old ferrari and mercedes had this. Prius is changing tech. Electric motors have instant and lot more torque. If gas keeps growing like it has over last 50 years don.t be surprised if your 5.0 mustang turns into a high amp prius. Ford will have almost 10 cars that will be hybrid/electric in 2012. Question is when will mustang get prius tech not if it will.

@erod1944 You should be glad that you atleast have a civic instead of a big suv. I had a accord before moving to prius. Prius is quiter, softer and slower. However i love the smart key and lcd display that tell you current mpg. NO more speeding. Accord was lot harder but could go little faster. In the end i appreciate 8 gallon fill ups instead of 14 on accord. I also drive slower since you can see mpg drop.
