After some new parts went on the car, mainly the new chassis parts from the NHRA specs after the John Force accident last year.

  • I would like to know- why in the world did they decide to put the car on the grass.. dangerous..

  • not really. We had a full fire team there and it was the best place to be with no surrounding buildings.

The houndog team have been in drag racing since the early 60's and were one of the pioneers in European Drag Racing. I think they know what they are doing

  • those crazy monkeys fired it straight up on nitro lol. usually turn it over on gas then let kick in the nitro

  • Hi Dude,

The team did actually turn it over a couple of times. Firstly with no ignition to get the oil pressure checked. Then they turned it over on gas. Then finally on Nitro. I just didn't edit in all the stages to this video.

    Thanks for the view though

  • WTF was the point of the guy getting all dressed up in full fire suit helmet and gas mask(both of which are not up to current safety standards)...this vid was lame...all it did was idle through most of the vid....

  • This was a very early test of the car turning over for the first time. Hence why it was only really idling

  • is there actually a nitro funny car class run in the UK? this car looks about ten years out of date, my advice is save your money & go to one NHRA event in the US

  • aaahhhhh....nitro. now can you please get it into competiton (before the forum keyboard know-it-alls declare the dog is dead) i watched mike and owen race HD's and id very much like to hear the dog bark in anger again. toodlepip!

  • ah that makes more sense

  • Interesting - shame they aren't competing yet....
