I detest the St Julian's Festa with a passion. Being Maltese, and hating the out-of tune Maltese banda music , I' not allowed to sleep past 23.00hrs. It's totally absurd! I always have work the next day and need my early nights and my sleep! To make extra sure you can't sleep, they'll pass right under your balcony in a small side street - yet God forbid your band should want to play until 21.00hrs in this country. Hypocrisy!! Ban the banda-playing at Festas at night!
