Clips from my second lesson with Eamon. So sit back and chillax, long video sorry lol. Ive put everything in, good & bad (: please comment and let me know if you think my riding has gotten any better since my 2 lessons so far lol (:
I actually feel like I can ride like a proper person now! Lol. We did some flatwork and jumping, Ive learned to ride Kody in a new way, and man shes going well! Im riding with looser softer and my hands up so Kodys working up from behind up to my contact and not relying on my hands to work in an outline. (well some of the time Eamon :P needa work on not keeping my hands low lol.) So yeh Im sitting up straighter and generally not just sitting there doing nothing lol. And jumping well. Im feeling very good about this tbh It doesnt look pretty, but Id really been doubting myself on seeing a stride on Kody so Eamon has REALLY helped me through that and I actually feel like after only one jumping lesson I can place Kody in a good take off now (: So yeh Im learning loads and Kody is being very good, I love this mare. Needa give more with my hands so il be fixing that now too (:

Kody is having two days off as she had a busy weekend, and Im not jumping her until my next lesson with Eamon. Video of Charly during the week possibly, he is happy, sound and going well. So overall very pleased.

Hands are a lot better since you started your lessons. Kody is really opens up through her back now and pushing out through her shoulders. Before she could be a bit.....sticky would be the best way to describe it :) She's using her back muscles rather than your hands to support her outline. She's flowing beautifully. And well done with your striding, its a hard thing to grasp but once the skill is there it never goes away (Y) I look forward to your next video, they're always really good. x

thanks :) my hands are no longer at my thighs :L she has really opened now, isnce ive relxed and am riding form legs she is REALLY powering from behind now :) thanks lot :) glad to see you can notice a difference :D xx

I used to ride exactly the same. I guess its just the easy way out. We're such lazy horseriders :P though we've both fixed the problem now so (Y)
