  • You're not doing any favours to these 'teens' whose parents broke the laws 20 years ago and they've grown up to continue that tradition of p*ssing on America's laws, too. They KNEW they'd face deportation, if they did what they did (so did their parents) and they took that chance. In America, you break the law, you face the consequences. I'm tired of this 'argument' - that somehow America is bad or to blame for the actions of their parents. The govt is not the parent of even legal citizens.

  • @foxfly23 and how exactly would you have done that. THERE IS NO SUCH A WAY. THERE IS NO SUCH A SYSTEM. DO SOME RESEARCH!

  • @streetsoldier108 There's nothing to 'doubt' about 20 years, if you have followed 'this story'. I have known hundreds of illegals who went back and forth across the border a million times. These were educated people - with the ability to make a good living in Mexico. They could have gone back and filed paperwork. The choice they made was to stay here in an illegal status and then put their Child through this. 'THIS SITUATION' is not because of the cruelty of American laws or society. I

  • If only the border was secured and i mean totally secure this immigration issue would be resolved and if our government would stop supporting this drug dealers that sneak in drugs which they do the government gets money out of all of it. Yet they say they are against it. After gets taken care of then we can move on to letting those students that are basically american just not in paper a chance to succeed. To me it seems like people are just afraid of competition.

  • @foxfly23 20 years i doubt that but in any case the problem is that there is no legal way of getting their situation resolved you should know better... once they are here leading to illegal actions which ppl complain about. Unfortunately thats all they can do because our system is broken and does not provide for them an opportunity instead it just kicks them out and ignores the problem. People see this as rewarding their parents and motivating more immigration but that is nonsense and u know it

  • @streetsoldier108 This fella's parents weren't dumb and they weren't poor and they've had about 20 years to get things done the right way. Instead, they chose to continue to break the law and put their child in this predicament. I am a parent and know for a FACT that I'd have been working every day from the day I got here to get things in order, legally, so my child would be spared this heartache and confrontation w/US law enforcement.

  • @foxfly23 Oh i wish things were as easy as typical americans like u think it is... of course being american its like a free pass to any country but when u are coming form a different place to here its a totally different story.

  • I'm considering this issue. Trying to do it without being led 'wholly' by my heart strings. I'm wondering why your very educated and capable parents didn't do something about this document issue years ago. Are THEY legal now? If not, why not? This country would have welcomed them (and you) with open arms and you'd not be in this situation if they'd done something about the paperwork in all these passing years. Still thinking on this. Bless your hearts. Love from Kansas.
