I no the Camaro is heavy but still hits 0 to 60 under 5 sec that's pretty quick stock throw headers 3 inch magnaflows cold air intake and u have a beast trust me I have one set up like that it's pushing around 480 hp I hate all u haters it's all about American muscle car love them all

@SteveCamaro2010 not surprising the ls1 was extremely underated gm says 350 to the crank i say bs mine dynoed at 312 rwhp stock m6 ss and its about 600lbs lighter

@ClayAbernathy also the tb bypass is a good free mod as well keeps hot coolant from heating up the tb so the tb stays cooler and we all know the cooler the better

@1000chrismc I'm a ford guy and I am defending the camaro.  Yes weight has a lot to do with why the mustang accelerates quicker, also the 6 speed in the stang has an insanely close ration tranny. It shifts into 5th gear at 100 mph. Also the camaro beats the mustang to 130 by two seconds. So, still not slow

@KENbELLErACKET For a car that has 425bhp it is slow just look at the new 5.0 mustang I hate to say this but that car destorys the camaro why because it is lighter if that camaro was lighter it would be faster. Its only slow because of the weight hell the new 392 is heavier but at the same time it has 470bhp and trq and its a lot faster than the new camaro because it has more power that 6.2L is a great motor and respondes well to upgrades no doubt but for what it is yes it is slow.
