  • Your locks are so pretty and long. How long have you been growing them? Do you retighten yourself?

  • @ibyl Thanks! I've been growing them for 6 years. I don't retighten them myself because there are so many, and I just don't have the patience to go through them myself, so I still go to a loctician every 6 weeks.

  • oooh i love your hair!! I always wonder how come sisterlocks manage to not break from retwisting etc.?

  • @abbeymore1 Thank you! I guess there's something about the Sisterlocking technique that keeps them strong. I see people with traditional locs that combine smaller locks to keep them from breaking, but in over 6 years of having the Sisterlocks, I haven't had a single one to get weak or break off.

  • Very nice!

  • @Xp3erynce thanks!

  • @LocdSister That's amazing. And i'm one of those traditional loc'ers who's lost locs and have combined several because of breakage. I just don't understand it. Anyway, i LOVE sisterlocks. Just never thought i'd be able to maintain them myself and it would have been too expensive for me to have someone maintain it.

  • @msfullroller Thanks!

  • Very pretty! Your locs are gorgeous!
