Rakhine nationality is one of the seven main ethnic groups in Union of Myanmar; and according to Rakhine history, there were four well known periods and "Veisali" is one of the eras, when the Rakhines were living with their own monarchy for many thousands of years, i.e. from BC 3325 to AD1784. Vesali/Vaishali 4th: century AD to 9th Century AD.

The "Ve-Sa-Li Era" of ancient Rakhine (Arakan) was once very prosperous. It was a vibrant era that flourished in abundant natural resources and international trade.
The great "Vesali" Image of Buddha emerged magnificently when the queen "Thu Pa Ba Devi "initiated to build and worship the sacred Buddha. And the whole country was overwhelmed with the Buddha's teaching which begins with - "Ye Dharma hay tope pa bawa..." meaning "All phenomena arise from causes. It's a very well known mantra in Buddhism.
And finally, with good intentions, the King "AnandarSandaraa" put all these events on records by engraving on the stone slabs and pillars and kept them as chronicles for the benefits of the future generations.
