Legendary old school tattoo artist, Jim Watson, owner of Superior Tattoo Equipment and Artistic Tattoo in Phoenix, demonstrates some amazing shading techniques in this video. Using a Superior RoadRunner machine, and Prizm Black ink, Jim masterfully uses his skill, honed over 40 years in the industry, to place a great lotus on Trina's back. This is an extremely amazing and informative video with various tips and tricks, beneficial to anyone in the tattoo industry, from aspiring artist, to seasoned veterans.
i think that you should stop tattooing just like mohamud ali stopped boxing, the lines were shaky bc either there wasnt enough tension on the needle and or the machine was running to fast. as for shading with color if its a traditional then use black for this off the wall piece, you need to learn under tones of the color you are using,,,,NEVER USE BLACK! as for you beginners start water color classes before you even think about tattoing. hope your days are blessed and better.

@xRandom4000 using to do what? They begin with what I believe is green soap. Then he wipes either vasoline or A and D lotion on it. I'd figure it was vasoline but the video doesn't say.
