I never get tired of watching this Tchaikovsky violin concerto and have seen it played on youtube by many artists but always come back to this Sarah Chang version as my favourtie one. I have seen Sarah Chang play live twice in the last year. Last time was at the Southbank theatre in london in April, she was playing the Bruch violin concerto, so amazing !! There are many wonderful Oriental lady violinists at the present, to name but a few, Akiko Suwanai, Hyun-Su Shin etc .

  • unbelievably talented, probably much more genius than we know, but her parents- maybe Chang herself- have done a fantasic job of portraying her as a normal kid with a LOT of interest and concentration in playing this instrument. She's still unbelievable to me after all these years....

  • Sarah Cnang!!!!!! es un amor/ es increible esta version, siempre que la escucho me parece mas virtuosa /ella ademas es supersimpatica y humilde.

  • This is truly a miracle of supreme divine gift. It's hard to imagine any violinist in history playing this superbly at age 11! This performance is not just good for an 11-year old, it is superlative in any standard and, I own 35 different recordings of this work including Heifetz, Milstein, Perlman and Oistrakh. I once saw her perform this work In Chicago when she was a teenager, and that was the most exciting and finest live performance of this work I had ever heard.
