To me he was the most innovative Shotokan master ever.

I really miss Sensei so much! My hope is that people sponsor more seminars from Keiko Asai to better understand Sensei's karate.

Why Thunderwunder? No offence but I don't understand your comments... You clearly never experienced training with Asai Sensei or the other great JKA instructors. There are many instructors who are not Japanese who are also fantastic such as Richard Amos Sensei (WTKO), and Bruno Koller Sensei (IJKA). Karate is karate - fighting, it is not ballet. If you think the footage in this clip was 'too much' you shouldn't do karate.
