wow that is really hard to do
-
seems difficult, takes too long learn to do it?
-
Shit - and i thought my fingers had good rhythm...
-
@JeniousJack you have to buy "session drums" separately, search it on google and it should come up :)
-
where do u get those drums sounds frm??????? they aint on ableton i just got those crappy drums???
-
@rhupliftmofocp If you don't want any velocity sensitivity - yes, it'll do. If you want the added feel of the dynamics so it's more like real drums - no (the real answer). No reason you can't play it on your computer keyboard, then manually adjust the velocities, but that's more of a PITA.
-
are there different samples for different velocities?

Nice video Ableton.
My answer for all the questions, is this:
Ableton is a great App to start out with, it may seem at first, but once you learn how this software works, you'll learn that the workflow is alot better than most DAW's.
There are some things I miss in this DAW, but it's my main go-to DAW for working with music and mixing.
I use toontrack superior alot, but session drums also looks wicked!
Either way, this video is sick! Nice playing huston!

Sure can : )
Ableton Live 7 has a keyboard input selector that allows this.
