Interactive Digital Media: CUTE - Petimo

Interactive Digital Media Program Office (IDMPO) is in-charge of developing the Digital Media sector in Singapore. We fund companies to develop projects relating to the growing digital age.

The Keio-NUS Connective Ubiquitous Technology For Embodiments (CUTE) center is a collaboration by researchers of the two universities. Researches on themes such as lifestyle media in the ubiquitous society and global computing were conducted, while utilizing leading-edge network and trends in digital content and Asian pop culture.

Petimo is an interactive robotic toy designed to merge robotics in social networks and the virtual world. Equipped with RFID and internal WIFI, information of friends can be transfered real time to the social networking site with a robotic kiss as trigger.
