@flapdoodle64 lil tribute to Joe Flaherety's hometown.

Thank God John Candy came back to the show. Woody just isn't the same without Dr. Tongue to argue with. And how come he doesn't look any older in 1980 as he did in this "1950s" era movie? :-)

Howl at 1:58 is great!
-
miss that old comedy central bug!

This was great comedy. You can't find stuff like this anymore on TV. Now it's pure garbage. SCTV was pure genius.
-
3-D has not improved.
-
So funny, Joe was the man.
-
Judging from the music and the characters, I think "Death Motel" is a parody of "Manos: Hands of Fate".
-
He is so correct Woody Tobias Jr. was one of the great scary actors of our day.

When you were 2, I used to sleep over and stay up with my friend just to watch SCTV at midnight. The McKenzie Brothers were signs of BEERS TO COME!!! Years later, I would drink beside Count Floyd at the same bar in Toronto.
The best Count Floyd show was when they did 'Blood Sucking Monkeys From West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.'

@flapdoodle64 "....West MIDLAND, Pa."

@chalomirof63
Google it. It's West Mifflin, PA, a town by Pittsburgh. I'm from that area. The monkeys eventually attacked Sewickley as well, which is a very nice town as well.

@chalomirof63 Yeah, but don't beat yourself up over it.
There is a great facebook page devoted to this, log in to facebook and type in:
'Blood-Sucking Monkeys From West Mifflin, Pennsylvania' ...there is kind of a cult following to this imaginary film...

@flapdoodle64 LOL - thanks, and also for your nice response! I always heard "West Midland" for some reason, and never questioned it. Yeah: I'll check out the Facebook page. Cheers!
