this is a cute astro boy alarm clock i bought myself after i bought one for my friend for christmas because it was just too cute. it has a very catchy wake up theme song! it's just really cool.

it's playing a Dragon Ball theme? That's as bad as the Alarm Clock of Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls my sister has that plays the Sailor Moon theme XD I think it's the same company

I just picked up one just like this at the mall today, only the center lights up when you squeeze it. Great item, although the sound is a bit distorted. The same company also made Bubbles, Michael, Sailor Moon (with plastic jewels) and Goku, both large and small. The boxes appeared to be Goku specific, not fitting Astro's head, so it's likely this started as a Goku line (with him supposedly "singing" his theme song) and later grew into other products. Cool line.
