  • Fantastic! I just bought a clock from Skinner's in Boston that has to be by the same maker. Two-train, moon phase, date and day of week. Same trumpeter's (my trumpet's are long gone) and Atlas on top holding up the world. Skinner estimated 1790, Dutch, maker unknown. Stands 9' 10". Would love to write and send photo's but don't know how to go about it.

  • Thats a really impressive clock, I love the chimes Cant recognise them but probably a Dutch folk tune. Thanks for sharing

  • grandfather clock with wittington chimes

  • we have one of these in the West Virginia Governor's Mansion in Charleston, WV in perfect working order and it looks identical to this one both the movement and the case

  • Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Presumably the automata rocks with the swing of the pendulum, or just when the music plays?
