@geisterbahn1 You are attempting to enter France, hence the border controls. The British have border controls in French ports too.

er ! whats with French customs ,show passport, your in Dover so what have the French to do with our side of the river.

@vburm - I agree that staffs1959 has taken the trouble to download a helpful video. However shame the sound did not match the idea. Of course one can always turn on mute as suggested.
