  • so those return address rubber stamps are made this way to? The ones you buy at staples or officemax. No way man!

  • Hi, the address stamps are a lower grade rubber, etched in a cheap machine, and then adhered to a self-inking handle. I really wouldn't compare them to these stamps. I have however, purchased an address label rubber and pulled it off the self-inking handle to remount it on the backing shown in the video. ;)

  • Thanks for explaining that. I was going to say that was a ton of work for those $5 return envelope stamps you buy at the store!!

  • Oh ya, way different in the way they are made, and the quality of the rubber reflects the quality of the impression. It's ok for your address stamp... but when you want to make a nice piece of art and a perfect impression, only the finest, purest pressed red rubber will do!

  • I'm looking everywhere for the static clean cushion!!! EVERYWHERE!!! Any @address where I could buy it? It needs to be sent to Belgium! Can you help?

  • Look up EZ Cling, mounting cushion, or cling cushion. You can find it on Ebay too! Hope this info helps!

  • Thank you sooooo very much!

  • Oh no! Goo gone is for the scissors only. To remove the rubber from the block, pop the stamp in the microwave for 10-15 sec. Put it in for a few seconds, then check to see if the adhesive is softening. If not pop it back in for a few more. You'll find that this perfectly loosens the glue, and can peel the stamp right off. Then mount any way your prefer! Hope this helps! --Shannon

  • I LOVE this idea...I have every thing I need and I started removing the rubber from my wood blocks and I have a huge ooey sticky mess left behind!!! I need help!!! I have used goo gone (soaked for 2 hours) and now it is even more ooey and gooey!

How are you supposed to remove the original sticky adhesive?

  • Kai's best friend is Goo Gone. You can find it at most hardware stores and grocery stores. Or you can use a littl rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to clean the blades of your scissors. Hope this helps, and happy crafting! -Shannon
