I am taking legal action to ensure that nothing of my body will never be used in medicine or by any human for any reason. I don't want to end up being forced to help a rotten species like Homo sapiens.

Great video. HeLa cells are a very interesting subject, and it's great to find videos about this. Plus, the annotation on the video ("then we a TWO!") is too funny

I have read the patents pertaining to Richardson's RTM microscope. As I understand it, the quoted 100 nm resolution only relates to the darkfield aspect of the microscope. It's the color contrast part I still don't understand. Why do these images look so stunning? You can't break any physics/optics laws here. What exactly is going on.

@chairde I am so sorry that I made a mistake but Hela cells come from Henrietta Lacks not Hicks. I really don't know why I made that mistake??
-
@2bRealist Well the doctor who used her cells became famous and the pharmaceutical corporations became rich. I think that the Nobel Peace committee should step in and honor this woman with a prize given to her family. Oh by the way, nobody ever asked Henrietta Hicks for her permission to use her cells for research.

i woudlnt be suprised of one of those bastards had sex with her dead body. if they steal cells they had to be all up in her..for all we know they could have given her cancer .. we do not even know a lab experiement. we do not even know what she signed on to do. I mean i see crap like that on CL all the time clincal trials etc .. 300 for Black people melanin. Wth

yes i aggree with you. they stole her cells and now making probably Zillions of dollars the family cannot get any money. but i dont really even know what to say

why these cells are turning into brown? i would really appriciate if anyone can explain please.
The colour Brown is seen because of the video colour balances has been inverted, a part of the technique to reveal the information not normally seen in a picture similar to the use of darkfield in brightfield you can not see less than say 0.250microns whilst darkfield can reveal less than 0.1microns. Happy to answer more questions thanks for watching but just imagine how good my original full resolution images are compared to these
