http://www.i-oracle.com/ - Oracle Training and Tutorials - Learn how to create a Sales Order in the Order Management module in Oracle Applications E-Business Suite R12. Use the R12 interface to search for the on-hand quantity in Inventory, and then place an order in Order Management. Run the Release Sales Order to run the auto shipping (Pick Release and Ship Confirm). We will then run the Workflow Background Process and the AutoInvoice process to generate the Invoice in Receivables.

  • Yemi, these video's are just fantastic! I am looking forward to a career as a functional consultant with scm as the focus. any pointers that would help me better my chances? also, what did you do to apply your concentration on the subject. This might sound a little silly, but I think whatever method you have used has been quite rewarding, I would like to know it and implement it myself. Look foward to hearing from you. Thank you again for all the hard work and the knowledge that you share!

  • @Cryptonite12 - A few pointers to become an Oracle SCM consultant

    1. Know SCM from a process / business function.

    2. Learn Oracle's SCM - You can become an Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Supply Chain Certified Expert Consultant (see Oracle's website for more details) - I'll also be posting more videos on the website.

    3. Build your profile

    4. Look for a role as an SCM consultant to gain the experience

With regards the concentration - I have no particular method :)

  • Another great quality video. Have you got Part 2?

  • @TonySasilva - Thanks for the encouragement. Part 2 has been uploaded.
